Marian was my mother and lived from 1918 to 2020, not going from Covid-19. She was raised in Saskatchewan during the 1930s, going into the Canadian Army in 1940 in Calgary along with one of her sisters. After a successful career teaching elementary shool in Alberta, West Germany, Ontario amd Alberta again, she moved to the Vancouver BC area for the rst of her days.

She had many great things she made but could not cook a steak right to save her life. Her roast beef was pretty bad but she did most everything else really well.
